About Tara

Tara O’Donoghue is a yoga teacher (500 RYT) and trauma informed Yoga Therapist (TIYT, C-IAYT) with over 1,200 hours of accredited training and 8 years teaching experience. She started LOV Yoga after caregiving for and eventually losing a loved one to cancer and now specializes in yoga therapy for cancer, grief, trauma and perinatal support.

As the founder of LOV Yoga, Tara is a creative soul with a BS in Education and experience as an elementary school teacher turned small business entrepreneur. She traded her decade of owning 2 coffee shops (Yeti’s Grind) for teaching yoga after feeling the therapeutic, healing power of these practices first hand. Tara’s offerings of LOV are classes, workshops, blog posts and custom yoga and wellness programs.

Tara and her Lov Yoga sessions have been a godsend in my cancer recovery. It’s so powerful to have someone meet you where you are and find ways for you to tap into the potential you thought you’ve lost. My heart is full, my mind is free and my body is thankful after every session.
