Growing Through Grief 6-Week Series
Grief can feel confusing and all consuming. We grieve the loss of people, pets, jobs, material possessions, people we love, life as we thought it “should” be…anything we love, feel attached to or that was once part of us that is no longer here. If you are grieving and need support of love and community, join us in this 6-week journey through processing grief. This body, mind, soul approach toward processing grief will help you rekindle your true nature, that special spark inside that may feel dark and heavy right now but will shine bright once again. There is a richness to soil that is cultivated in the darkness of difficult seasons in life. Together we will plant seeds to grow through the grief we are going through and begin to L.O.V. (Live Our Vitality) once again.
Growing through grief has been my path since the biggest loss of my life 8 years ago when my husband passed away after a long cancer journey. The devastation of losing him plus my career and overall sense of identity was overwhelming. Group grief therapy felt supportive and normalized my experience, which led me toward studying grief further through yoga therapy and leading grief programs for young adult cancer organizations. It is an honor to join together while working through tender life challenges. I have learned to see grief as one of my greatest teachers and you can too! The obstacle is the way…let’s walk together.
This 6-week series includes the following (all virtual):
Weekly Grief CommUNITY Circles: We will join together weekly as a small group to support one another as we share our grief stories and process the emotions we are feeling. When we are grieving, it is helpful to feel heard, seen and held by other grievers. You are not alone and we are here to walk each other hOMe.
February 23 - March 30, 2025, Sundays (10:00am - 12:00pm mst/11:00 - 1:00 cst/12:00 - 2:00 est/9:00 - 11:00 pst)
Each participant will receive 2 one-on-one zoom sessions (45 min each) over the course of 6 weeks. We will work together to navigate the challenges and questions you have about your personal grief. Additional individual support is available if needed.
Weekly videos of self care and mindfulness practices that support the grieving process such as breathwork, meditation and mindful movement. No prior yoga or mindfulness experience is needed and all movement will be accessible and adaptable for all participants. No pressure to complete everything and resources will be available after the program ends.
Weekly self reflection projects will unpack emotions and guide you through the grief process. This becomes the fertilizer that enriches the soil to grow through our grief.
Investment: $222 per person + Your time to reflect on your grief and commit to the work of this program. Early sign-up discount $180 by 2/12
